Charlie Staples Original Famous Bar-b-que

We have been wanting to try this place forever. We finally made it out tonight and were NOT dissapointed. We all tried a combo dinner and loved every bite. Our server, Cherelle, was fantastic!! Great place, can't wait to visit again soon.

Always great food. Service is kind of slow, but I can forgive that because the food is worth the wait. Tonight I had 1/4 slab ribs, chicken breast wing with coleslaw fries. Excellent! Had to have a cornbread muffin, too. They had beignets for dessert, but we were late for the YSU Game, so we passed!

We had Father's Day lunch. Our waitress was polite and quick with our drinks and food. The ambiance is superb. I enjoyed the mac n cheese so much I had to get a pint to go. We met Charlie!!! He shook our hand told us he was glad we could come out and even let us take a picture with him... So excited. Thanks for the great meal and hospitality.

I've been eating at Staples since it was in the run down house across the street. The food is always great and the service improves every visit!! It's my favorite BBQ place!
