Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Yorkville

Decided to dine in and was very disappointed. They had 5 workers standing around only a few working. Had to wait for the chicken was told they had no mild but not offered to wait. The chicken was good everything else was par. The order was not given to us correctly on 3 items we ordered thankful we were eating in. One of the items was put back into stock after we opened it and realized it was wrong. No condiments the lids for the fountain drinks were just stacked for everyone to touch. For a new store truly disappointing. I think they need to rethink the management there.

The chicken and fries were great. We had the tender combo. The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fries have a nice seasoning as well. The blackened ranch is awesome with the chicken tenders. The service was good as well. I would definitely return here for future meals.

The staff was very nice but the food was not good. Chicken Tenders were very salty as if someone dropped a container of salt on 3 of the 14 tenders I ordered. The mashed potatoes tasted funny too. It said New Management on the window but the food got bad.

The cashier at this restaurant had a rude attitude and a smug expression throughout our interaction. Despite our clear request for blackened ranch, she claimed to have given it to us but in reality, there was no blackened ranch in the bag, only a single BBQ sauce that no one wanted. Additionally, the drinks were not filled up all the way.

I have visited this restaurant many times and almost every time they have forgotten at least one item in my order. One time I didn't check my bag and had to drive all the way back home when I realized something was missing. Despite trying to call, I only received a busy signal. The workers seem unsure of what to say and just stand and stare. In my opinion, the quality of the chicken is inconsistent. I wish it was better considering its location in Yorkville.
