They are very accommodating. the food is great.the place is very clean.
I would give 10 stars if I could. I had my wedding here in the fall. I could not recommend club monarch more (now monarch banquets). I had about 40 people there in Fall 2022 and it was about $2k (I believe we were locked into old prices before the rates went up with the cost of food and whatnot). That cost included food, open bar for wine and beer, and the cost to rent the space. You just can’t beat that price and it’s so nice in there; plus, my guests loved the food! Every other venue I looked at was like $6k without food and drinks. It’s also free to go the day before and do a rehearsal there (not including dinner of course). My in laws set up a dinner at Michael’s after the rehearsal, but I’m sure you could also do the rehearsal dinner at club monarch. Monica Hickel was my point of contact throughout the entire experience and we loved her. She was super nice, down to earth, and easily reachable. I think she actually owns it with her husband. She worked out all the details with me and helped me plan the course or events for the night. She did all of this with me being out of state planning it and was always available to meet up with my mom and aunts who were helping me out with favors, centerpieces, desserts, and the arch decor. She met up with them a couple of times so they could bring the stuff they had for centerpieces and come up with a plan. I wasn’t sure what a ceremony entailed in the slightest and she walked me through some options and I chose one. She’ll also recommend vendors for you if you need one. They set everything up for you the day of and you just have to show them how you want all of the decor set up. They’ll do the centerpieces, dessert table, gift table, guestbook table, etc the way you show them. They have nice drapery on the ceilings and supply all the stuff for the tables including chair covers which are like $2 per chair. You can’t hang or attach anything like string lights to the ceilings unless you hire an outside professional to do so but I thought the drapery was pretty enough without that so I just stuck to the table and arch decor for my theme. After the wedding, me and my mom took most of the decorations and stuff home but we had to leave some things and come back for them. After the wedding I wasn’t able to get the arch for a while and kept trying to coordinate a time to pick it up for when I would be in NY. I ended up not being able to coordinate a time that worked the last few times I was in NY and then she just ended up telling me she would buy it from me if I wanted and ended up sending me money for the arch so we just did that and now she can let other people use it. She also mailed me some of the decor that I left there. She was just really great overall and went way above and beyond. You can’t go wrong having your event here; you’ll be in good hands every step of the way! A friend of a friend is planning a wedding so I told her all of this and highly recommended that she have her wedding here as well!
We got invited there for a first communion party. The room was a perfect size for this event and could have been made even bigger for larger events. The food was great and the atmosphere was very welcoming, comfortable and modern. If you ever need a place to hold an event, you should look here first!
