Tambora Latin Cuisine - Yorktown

Muy delicioso. Very delicious. Had the rice and beans with pernil, my wife had 2 empanadas, flan, and coffee, and our son had the rice with grilled chicken. Everything that we had was muy delicioso! Will definitely come back.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Although the fried pork was good the mofongo wasn't the best. It had a strong sour taste and the sauce used wasn't the typical way I would have it. Would I go back? I doubt it...

Came for lunch with hubby, had the fried picadera with chicharon, fried cheese, tostones, batata, chicken salami, yummy

Very good food, simply made with a lot of flavor. This was my first time trying Mofongo and I really enjoyed it, we had it with the red sauce. I would recommend the chicken empanadas as well. The steak was juicy and tender. We also tried the passionberry juice and blue drink (I can't remember what it was called) from the cocktail menu- both were great and there was a good amount of rum in cocktail

My wife and I went recently and had a great dinner. The food was excellent, and our server was friendly and responsive to all our needs. The music was a bit loud which made conversation a little difficult but we had a nice evening.
