Riverwalk Yorktown

We sat on the back porch, for the view of the river. Outdoor heaters kept us comfortable. Service was attentive. Food was well prepared. She Crab Soup was excellent with plenty of crab. The firecracker shrimp was good, but a little overcooked. Crab cake burger was very good, as were the Old Bay fries. I would eat here again.

The food was overpriced for the portion size and the noise level inside the restaurant was quite high.

This was the Easter Buffet. Food was generally good especially the beef tenderloin and tuna. We didn’t partake of the breakfast foods except for the smoked salmon, which was enjoyable. Some of the dishes were dried out and congealed due to the extended time in chafing dishes especially the shrimp and grits and mashed potatoes. We were seated at a small table in the rear of the banquet room on folding chairs. Ambiance was non existent. All the tables with views were for large parties. Key lime pie was good. Servers were great. Bar service slow.

Buffet was next door at Riverwalk Restaurant. Great location on the York River. Food was well prepared, and tasty. Service was very friendly, and attentive.

Beautiful evening at WSG. It is a relaxed casual atmosphere on the York River. The staff are all excellent, stopping by the table often to ask if you need anything and if all is going well with the service and food. They do not rush you to order, we were allowed to order drinks and apps before feeling rushed to order dinner. The menu has something for everyone and the food is excellent
