Liberty Lounge Ii - Yorktown

This is a wonderful spot with an amazing community and excellent prices on beer and drinks. However, access is restricted to Coast Guard members or CAC holders. They also host some fantastic events!

It has changed since my last visit, but overall, it's still a great spot to grab a bite and enjoy a beer.

Atmosphere is nice, prices are fair, and servers are fantastic. Food is great... put you will feel the pizza the next day. Hit or miss if it's busy, pull tables are not the best, lots of seats. Over all a good place to have a few while watching the game or pregame the night to come.

The food was enjoyable, but there is a need for improvement in customer service.

The restaurant is conveniently situated on the street side of Washington Auditorium, making it easy to find along the perimeter road. It features a blue awning and some outdoor seating. You enter through the door on the right and then go through another door on the left. I visited during a time when there was a COVID mask mandate, so everyone was required to wear masks, and some patrons had to show proof of vaccination. You place your order at the counter located at the back of the restaurant, with a menu that includes appetizers, bar snacks, and drinks. The staff was friendly, the food was tasty (I had wings), and the portion sizes were generous. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a snack or a nice place to unwind.
