I visited with my youngest daughter who was visiting from the UK and had previously eaten at other Korean restaurants there. She loved the food and so did I. We had Dak Kalbi Jungsik (spicy chicken on a hot plate with rice), Daegoo Tang (cod with vegetables), Kalbitang (beef short ribs and egg drop soup) and Tookbaeki Bulgogi (marinated sirloin in a stone bowl with rice). When we ordered these, the waitress gently queried whether we thought two people could eat all that food, and she was right! They came with quite a lot of light accompaniments which were delicious, and our favourite was the Kalbitang - rich sauce with ribs that fell off the bone. I though the Daegoo Tang broth was a little too watery so ate the cod but not much of the rest. My favourite was the wonderfully spicy Dak Kalbi Jungsik - extremely tasty and accompanied by vegetables which were perfectly cooked. The red button provided at all tables is a great idea - you press it when you need assistance, or if you are ready to order/pay. The restaurant was not busy but every time we used the button a waitress was there within seconds! More restaurants could benefit from this efficient system. The delivery of food was interestingly delivered on trolleys which reminded me of my old school canteen days, and this restaurant is not cheap, but the service and the food are well worth a visit - and the menu is very extensive, covering specialities, Korean, Chinese, BBQ and Broil menus.
Pork bone soup is one of the best in town. Kimchi is also very spicy. Service needs improvement but food is good.
Good Korean food. Busy place for Korean BBQ. Had the pork bone soup. Which is good each time we go there. Waitress we had was very good. Knew who ordered which items.
Always end up coming here when we decide not to cook last minute and don't know where else to dine. Service is hit and miss, but they're quick and efficient. The space is comfortable with private booth tables. I always end up getting a tofu stew w/ bbq mackerel and it never disappoints.
