We had a short wait to be seated, but since it wasn't busy, they told us to choose our own table. We opted to sit outside on a nice evening. The service was quite slow, but we later found out that some staff members had called in sick. While not an excuse, it explained the delay in getting our drinks and food orders taken. The food arrived after more than 20 minutes, which felt like a tactic to encourage us to order more drinks while waiting. The menu wasn't extensive, but that wasn't a bad thing as they executed their dishes well. I liked the salmon, and my friend Karen enjoyed the pork tenderloin. The portion sizes were generous, and the limited menu made it easier to make a decision. The prices were a bit high for my liking, but the discount helped make it more affordable.

Tried to eat here while staying at the hotel. Tried to order from the Menue. Many things not available. What I did get was of poor charity and way too expensive.
I have never seen a restaurant go from 5 star to 1 star in less than a year but this is a first. I had planned to eat 6 dinners, 5 lunches and 6 hot breakfasts here in the course of a week. After 4 dinners, 3 lunches (managed 5 breakfasts) I had to go to having food delivered as the quality here was atrocious. From one day when the service was the worst I have ever seen. The server, with no other tables occupied, forgot I was there. The bone in NY Strip with butterflied shrimp came with 2 small cocktail shrimp, not butterflied and the Strip was not bone in. The only part that was inedible was the large amount of gristle. i have eaten NY Strips for decades and have never EVER had one with gristle. I choked down the worst french toast I have ever tasted there for a breakfast. There are holes in the wall, the window sills are not cleaned. One server was vacuuming during lunch service. From a gem to an abonimation. My suggestion? Order in from outside restaurants. This place is a dump.
The food was good, but the service was excellent. Not sure but I think we got the manager to serve us as it was an enjoyable experience. This gentleman was setting up the continental breakfast area and training a new staff member. He was an exceptional server both attentive and not overbearing.As for the Monte Carlo continental breakfast there is a hot option too, nothing exceptional about this.
