The Central Bean Bakery - York

This bakery and coffee house in York is a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall on Long Sands Street, this unpretentious business has incredible bakery. The banana tart melts in your mouth. The brownies, shortbread, lemon cheesecake and carrot cake (BEST EVER) are some of my favorites. Don't miss this place! Also the turkey baguette with figs and cheddar-jaup, you can not go wrong. And love the interior, very tastefully designed and a relaxing place to hang out and enjoy your treats.

Only the best ingredients and the best employees here! You cannot go wrong with a single thing in the menu. From the wonderful homemade pastries, to George Howell Coffee, to the urban farm blueberry kombucha, this place has everything!

When I found out that the owners of my favorite restaurant (The Central) opened a coffee shop, I was so excited and they were NOT disappointed! The coffee was great, the service was friendly, and the baked goods were AMAZING! Pair that with the free Wifi, and it will definitely get my favorite office away from the office!

YUM!!! When I walk in, I’m not only greeted by smiling faces and a warm environment, but OMG THE TREATS that stare back at me! I wish I could just get one of everything every single time. Hands down the brioche donut. The Kombucha. The turkey sandwich. And the brisket breakfast burrito. I just can’t get enough of The Central Bean and Bakery! If I were to suggest anything, I want to go there on Sundays!! Please! I cant get enough. Highly recommend!
