The food was cold and missing key ingredients. The service was painfully slow, and just overall not good. Extremely disappointed, will not be going back!

Dockside is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph! I've shot many weddings there and I've loved every one of them. The staff is top notch, the grounds are beautiful, and view is unmatched, and during your reception you'll probably be visited by a nosy great blue heron. He's popped up at most of the weddings I've shot there. There are so many wedding venues in Southern Maine, you probably can't do any better than Dockside. Food: 5

Our stay encompassed several days in early October of this year and it was our first time staying there. Accomodations were excellent and we look forward to staying again in the future! The attached photo of the sunrise speaks to the quality of the atmosphere! The lobster rolls served at the deck by the water were spectacular!! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
