The first time went and it was absolutely delicious. My mother and I went to lunch at 4 and all were very nice to check on us and make small conversations with everyone. You can definitely say that the staff is working hard here. We got the appetizer sampler, a cup of chili, crab parm, fried chicken and sides. The crab Parm was really amazing and the chicken, and the sampler was so full when we got to the main meal we already knew we need takeaway boxes for home lol! The chili was some of the best I had. I would have taken pictures of the food, but it looked too good not to dig as soon as it hit the table. Will definitely come back to try more!

Had breakfast here Sunday at noon. For about $12 got two fried eggs home fries with onions rye toast a plate full of bacon orange juice and coffee. Only two in our party but tables were full, so we took 2 counter seats. The counter service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed. The wait staff was friendly. The food tasted good, the portions generous and my food came as ordered despite them being busy.

What a great find. Service was friendly, place was clean, the owner/manager came around and engaged us which is wonderful in this day. The food was great and desserts even better. I will go there again and recommend you give it a try when you're in York.

Here's the catch: while they serve breakfast until about 11 AM, the lunch and dinner menu—which boasts three pages of specials—is absolutely outstanding and available until closing. They offer an impressive selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and seafood combos that you wouldn’t expect. I ordered a medium-rare cut of prime rib, which came with onion rings, mashed potatoes, a broccoli salad, and three fried jumbo shrimp—all for just $23! However, the real highlight was the locally sourced buffalo burger, cooked perfectly medium and served with a generous portion of crispy French fries. It made for a delicious dinner! Kudos to the owner, Karl, for providing such a fantastic lunch experience at a very reasonable price, especially considering the generous portions and high quality of the food!

Brought my 1 yr old granddaughter to the restaurant with my daughter. I've been coming here since I was a kid 40+ yrs ago. Waitress was great with assisting us with our lil one.
