Excellent food and lovely friendly staff. Very cosy in the back room with a roaring fire in an original range. So good we wanted to book an evening for our 40th wedding anniversary but disappointed to be told not taking any bookings because of covid. Shame.

Visited again today. I love this place. Location, food, service, room layout (tables spaced, fire burning). Very pleased to have something like this so close to home. Thank you

First visit a little disappointed . We have wanted to try this little cafe for years always seem to be there when they’re closed. Ordered a tortilla wrap and received a soft bred bun instead? Nothing was said at all on ordering. My husband enjoyed the homemade vegetable soup again with a very pale poor quality brown ? bread roll. Ladies who served us were lovely. Will book next time as no tables inside but lovely autumn sunshine.
