General's Deli - Yokuts Valley

I went this afternoon. To get sandwiches and they were closed. The parking lot was roped off ad Afro sale sign was out.

Great service, greated with a friendly hello as soon as you walk in the door. The sandwichs are amazing. Perfect place to take a quick break, and of course we rang the bell

Definitely recommend the grilled hot dog! Nicest owners, you'll immediately feel welcomed to their restaurant!

This amazing deli, which has only been in business for a month and a half, is found in a pair of inconspicuous yurts outside of Kings Canyon National Park at the intersection of 180 and Dunlap Rd. It sells sandwiches, hot dogs, beer, and soda.... and after a weekend of hiking and camping, that's all we needed. The sandwiches are AMAZING! Lots of meat and cheese, none of this single slice stuff. The rolls are also delicious and the other fillers (lettuce, tomatoes, etc) are fresh. The owners work there on Sundays and have other employees working there the rest of the time. They are really nice people and work hard to make this a great simple sandwich place. They have 2 beers on tap at a time, which were 805 and Coors when we were there. They also had a bunch of bottled beers too. There's a tv that they put our favorite football team's game on for us. This was our first time here and we were very glad we chose to stop here on our way out of King's Canyon. Thanks for a great lunch!
