Penny’s Diner - Yokohama

Great decor and location with friendly staff! The burgers are tall, not wide but full of flavour and texture. One of Yokohama's better burgers. Great to stroll to from Minato Mirai, Yamashita Koen or China Town.

The ambience was really nice. A little bit pricey in my opinion, but the sizes are rather large. Unfortunately they didn't have any milkshakes anymore which was a huge bummer. A place like that should definitely always have ice or shakes available if that menu is so big.

Expensive. Tasty fries, but our burgers were too rare. My husband enjoyed his big milkshake, but 1100¥ for a shake is a bit much.

While I was having my overcooked medium burger, someone started smoking at the door and all the smoke came inside. As I finished my burger, I saw that it was the cook that was smoking. Terrible! The ginger ale was nice and cold.

Nice place and good food. I had the Speck Cheeseburger with Fritten and I have to say it was delicious! It was huge and had beautiful fresh salad and tomatoes on it. The thing that put it over the top was the onions. The staff was friendly, but I was told as soon as I had set myself, I had to order a drink. I had to order a lime, but it was very strange to say I had to order a drink to eat at the restaurant. I ordered a root beer and received a can of A
