Yinnar Hotel

For a small country hotel they offer a great selection of meals including a new Chinese menu. Can recommend the satay chicken and fried rice. They also have specials nights for parma and pot and steak nights.

We were told that the meals had improved. Out of the 4 of us, one had a good meal of pasta, my fish and chips were not good, grilled fish hard and dry and chips soft and soggy, inedible. The other two steak order were mixed up, so the medium rare, with mushroom sauce on the side came with another sauce over the top and the well done with sauce on the side. Not good for someone who likes a medium done steak. When we told the waitress the meal wasn't up to standard it was ignored. We won't be returning again.

Cute country pub, very small. Bistro closed so unable to check food. Advertised as accommodation for caravans at the rear. Must have been old advice as none available. Neat town .

Visitors to our B&B are always recommended Yinnar Hotel as it has delivered food of a high standard for many years. All come back and thank us for this recommendation. We also use it frequently as it has a great feel to it. They do special menus on several days which are great value for money.

If you are passing through Yinnar make sure you stop by the Yinnar Hotel for dinner, especially if it is a Tuesday night - Sensational Schnitzel Night! On Tuesday's the hotel has a special on schnitzels. Choose from chicken or beef with a variety of toppings (we like the godfather, hawaiian and avocado toppings). Also if you enjoy bluegrass music book a table for the Yinnar Hotel's famous 'Strzelecki Stringbusters night' on the last Wednesday of each month. Always a fantastic evening of entertainment, dinner and a show!
