The Mare Foal - Yeoford

Actually it is now called the Duck at Yeoford and has been completely and very successfully revamped. A delightful lingering Saturday lunch with friends, excellent food and service in great surroundings. We will be back -it is a great addition to the area and the new owners are to be congratulated. Coincidentally we used to eat in the restaurant where the chef/joint owner was training in London so it was an added pleasure to rediscover him.

Mare Foal closed but replaced by Duck at Yeoford under new owners

Brilliant new opening. Well decorated and great simple food. Just need to turn the heating up as it was pretty chilly in the dining room, and the food could have been a little hotter. Lovely friendly staff. Well done!

This is no longer The Mare and Foal. It is now The Duck at Yeoford and was excellent

Is this even open anymore? It used to he a really good pub with lots of stuff like an annual fireworks display etc... But nothing anymore and the last I went the food was good but they were really funny about the kids. Which was a shame given it had always been a family pub. :
