Pound Cake Heaven - Yeadon

I had the misfortune of getting my 65th birthday cake from this place, which I chose because first they were featured on fox 29 and second they were black owned. I ordered it in June 2022for December 3rd 22nd it cost 450 dollars which I didn’t mind paying because of the pictures they showed of their work I felt it was worth it. It was a two tier cake, when they delivered it thy were over an hour late and the cake came lopsided with some of the details falling off. This cake was supposed to be the centerpiece of the table and it was embarrassing. What makes matters worse is the woman who I talked to who also happened to been the cake designer and deliver the cake took no responsibility for anything, I was told that the owner would reach out to me this was on 12/03/22 today is 12/17/22 and I haven’t received one call or text. I will never go or recommend anyone to to go there

They are very unprofessional and very disrespectful. I ordered the cake online the night before had a 1:00 pick up. the cake was not ready. She told me she could have a cake ready within 20 minutes I asked was the cake fresh, she got offended because I asked was the cake fresh. I'm paying $50 for a cake I want a fresh cake. She said well we having death in our family so you could come pick up a cake tomorrow at 2: 00 .pm. I told her well the birthday will be over by tomorrow and I want a refund she said I have to go online and figure out how to get a. These people are so disrespectful do not spend your money there. You will be very disappointed with the service.

I paid close to 200.00 for a sheet cake and a half sheet cake that I was ashamed to give to my church it looked like something a young child decorated. Decorated so poorly that I will never buy a gift cake from them again.Their butter cake is good for that they get 4 stars.

My husband enjoys their cakes and gets them regularly so we came to get a cake for our Father’s Day celebration And we are not disappointed.
