Royal Hotel - YARRAMAN

We wanted a pizza for dinner so decided to try the royal. After being told it would take half an hour, an hour later we received our disgusting, tough worst ever pizza. It was so bad you could not eve chew it. The dogs didn't want it either. Will never ever go back.

As we were staying in the motel nearby this seemed like the best choice for dinner. We ordered entrees and mains and because it was so busy, we took ourselves out to the dining room. After 50 minutes, I had to ask the lady (I think she was the owner) where our food was. Ten minutes later (so an hour after we ordered) she came out with it, saying she had had to cook it herself. From the dining room, we could hear every word the cook said and he wasn’t happy. Yea, he was busy but still. Our mains arrived not too long after entree and while the food was fine, our experience was tarnished by the delay, and the cook’s running commentary.

We ate here after completing the BVRT. There was a great choice of meals. We all had different orders and all enjoyed the huge meals very much. Friendly staff and a big dining room.

We had an fantastic evening here on the last night of our family holiday. The service was exceptional - country hospitality at its absolute best. Our meals were large and delicious and all of our dietary requirements were catered for without hesitation. Thanks to all the team at the Royal Hotel for making the last night of our trip so special.
