Yamagata Dondon Yaki Snack Shop

It was my first time the local Yamagata speciality Dondon food, but it was so delicious. I'm really glad I came here, there are indoor and outdoor seats available with takeaway options. The portion sizes are really big, so honest, you just need one per person in my opinion. This place is really popular, it was presented on many famous TV shows and many celebrities also come here. The staff was nice and friendly and chatting.

Cheap street food. Close to train station. More room inside than appears.

At 5 o'clock, the snack shop is transformed into a tavern. Drink set (1200 yen) Two snacks and two drinks are very profitable. It is also delicious. It is satisfied with eating more. where you like.

This places sells don don . Essentially it 's like a thicker savory salty crape with some type of filling (cheese, curry, pizza... and sauce no sauce option. It 's a cheap place to eat ¥300 each and is filling. My picures are a sauce cheese and no sauce curry. I think cheese was the better option. They also have some other foods such as yaki soba and ice cream. Note that the soft ice cream isn 't how you think, but a carriage type system that produces soft ice cream . I 've had it before with less than desirable impression. The place has been featured on Japanese tv so it 's a little popular here. The dondon was deliscous and filling. I gave it 4 stars as the place could be a little cleaner.
