Gum Tree Pies - YACKANDANDAH

We visited the Bright store. Crispy, flaky crust, chunky beef and beautifully seasoned gravy, by far the best pie in OZ. Almost there to beat the best pie in Rotorua NZ!

Best pies I’ve ever had! We had panang pumpkin pie and green thai chicken pie.. both were to die for! Pastry was flaky and crispy with delicious fillings. The place is a popular local pie shop in Bright with a long queue all the time. Quick service, just wish they have a branch in Melbourne

A good place for a quick pie!! Fast service and deslicious pies! The steak pies and chicken mushroom had good chunks of meat in them. The curry cauliflower and lamb and mint were good as well!!

Whatever you do buy a pie from here or the shop in Bright. Easily, yes, easily, the best pie I've ever eaten. Chunky pieces of steak, lots of red wine for flavour, and a flaky, golden pastry. The chicken veg is the best I've had. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. It's a long drive for a pie but totally worth it.

Have wanting to review this for quite a while This place has one of the very best pies I have tried ever. And I have tried too many. The line to the door says it all.The staff were friendly and service was prompt. We ordered thai green curry, lamb and mint, steak and red wine, steak and mushroom and steak and Guinness. The biggest hit with us was thai green curry, lamb and mint and steak and Guinness They are a really good portion and kids love them a lot. The flavor was just right. Pastry was crispy and flaky. Just beautiful.
