Vegetarian Tomato Beef Noodle

It 's right at the foot of elephant mountain. It 's a stone 's throw away from the MRT. These are car parking boxes on surrounding streets. Like there 's no excuse to not eat here. Beef noodle soup : Broth Good! Meat Good! Noodles Chewy Good! Also get their wontons in chili sauce. Also get their yam leaves stir fry that special sauce is to die for.

Very weird. Good food but we were made to feel very unwelcome when I asked for an extra plate to help my 5 year old manage to eat his noodles. Laoban refused and wouldn't give any reason why. Seems a shame to make diners feel like an inconvenience.

The tomato soup is good and the noodles are chewy. More like the family style of dishes for vegetarians.

I was really looking forward to visiting this place since it 's highly recommended. The noodles were chewy and well cooked, and the tomato broth was rich and a little sourish. However the beef, which is actually monkey head mushroom, didn 't quite seem to soak in the taste of the broth and tasted detached from the overall taste of the noodle soup. We had the smelly beancurd, which tasted alright. Not one of the best veg beancurd I 've had thou. Overall, the standard is good, but the long distance from Central Taipei and the absence of the wow factor is hard to persuade me to return.
