Great ingredients, buns prepared from scratch. Pure beef without additives. It doesn't properly describe the quality of the Burgers and Fries and Onion rings we had here. The bun is made fresh on premises. The perfect burger bun that doesn't fall apart when you bite into the fresh lettuce and tomatoes and red onion with bacon and cheddar. It is obvious that MO is a burger genius. The onion ring batter was crisp and not greasy, the onions, delicately sweet. I can't attest to the fries as my wife wouldn't share...ANY!As a burger fan, this will be a destination for me and my family.
Stopped here for lunch after reading the sign that said best burgers on the Yellow head well there is no way that was the best burger or even close I would say A&W has as good a burger if not a little tastier. staff seemed grumpy and made me feel as if I was putting them out to serve me.Not my first or second choice in Wynyard.
They make delicious homemade soups/ burgers/ pizza and to die for bread. In the summer the soft ice cream is so creamy. Good selection of flavours of hard ice cream too. Only been in business for over a year but a must place to check if travelling through Wynyard on highway 16.
On a recent early morning trip to Wynyard and dying for a coffee, I stopped into Papa Mo's Diner. I hadn't realized that they were closed and when I rang the bell they were more than hospitable to me. Being a cook at heart, the smells from the kitchen were peaking my interest. The person (maybe his name is Landen) was a multitude of info, he sold Wynyard well. After my meeting I had to stop in for a bite. The rustic/vintage interior was filled to capacity with customers, always a good sign in a big farming community. As I looked at the chalk board wall menu, I saw a wide variety of selections that would please everyone's tastes. I was in a hurry so I grabbed 2 pieces of the MEATLOVERS pizza, one for me and one for my son back in Regina, my son didn't get his. I'm lactose intolerant and pizza is my favorite....IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!!! I can say with certainty, that the amount of people in the place was definitely a reflection of the quality of the food and service. Way to go Papa Mo's Diner. It's a short drive from almost anywhere in Saskatchewan, go for a drive see what your missing, you won't regret it.P.S. I don't do 5"s...this was a high 4...that pizza beat any I've had, including my home made....Eeeek..... can't wait to make Wynyard my new home.hrV188
