The White Lion - Wycombe

Looking for a lunch stop and Google maps found this great little pub. It's a proper local pub with a varied unpretentious food menu. Plenty of choice, large portions and fantastic value for money. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious and fresh, and the beer is flavorful. The owners go out of their way to help you. They are amazing people and the food is equally fantastic.

We visited this restaurant with another family and enjoyed drinks and pub food. The portions were large and the food was well-prepared. The kids' meals were nicely cooked with high-quality ingredients. The beer garden was well-maintained and family-friendly, with various games available to play. The pub also had pool and sports on TV. It was a great value and not pretentious like other pubs in the area. We will definitely recommend it to others!

Popped in for a drink with my mum as we heard it was under new management. Came in on a hot Friday 35 degrees! and it’s lovely. The landlady and son team (Alison and Dave) have really worked hard in the three weeks they committed themselves to turn this pub around they have completely redecorated and invested in new furniture indoors and outdoors with comfy chairs and cushions, perfect for a drink outside or a meal inside. Safe garden for your kids and family friendly. New pool table indoors too if you fancy a game. Did not try the food but we will come back soon to give a review. Currently a limited menu as they have been open less than a week but they are planning a bigger menu and Sunday lunches within a fortnight. A friendly pub and will definitely be back to show our support. You may remember the old White Lion but I strongly suggest a visit to show your support as it is a different pub. We will be back!

Not a bad country pub it has 2 bars one with a pool table and a dart board. A good size car park a beer garden. And a covered smoking area. Friendly staff. The bar could do with a wider choice of bottled beers. Nice village pub
