We opted for set menu 1, which offered a wide variety of dishes, perfect for our first visit. The set menu included a selection of appetizers to share (check out the pictures) and a variety of main courses to share (check out the pictures), followed by either ice cream or tea/coffee. We decided to splurge a little and try the brownie pudding, which was amazing! I highly recommend giving Eat Thai a try - you won't be disappointed!
I met up with some former coworkers last night and went out to dinner. The food was decent, but the service was surprisingly poor. It was obvious that they were understaffed, but there was no mention of it when we arrived. The front of house staff came across as cocky and arrogant, showing more interest in serving a large birthday group and clearing empty tables than in taking care of our food and drinks. I don't plan on going back anytime soon.
Yet another fantastic experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed the hot and spicy soup, chicken satay, and sweet and sour chicken, all of which were delicious as always. Sadly, Egg, the manager of 21 years, has moved on, but the staff and chef have stayed, ensuring the same top-notch quality of food and service. This restaurant is still a great place to dine!
Starters were the best, tasty dim sum, though portions modest. Mains were also OK, but portions too small. Why squish coconut rice into balls and give 4 people one call between us, seemed at odds with the friendly service. Excellent central location. Will try again.
Visited again, set menu for Valentines. Choice of starter, main and dessert. As usual, excellent. Great ambiance and evening.
