Cote Brasserie Marlow - Wycombe

During our family holiday, we decided to stop here for brunch. We had an excellent meal that was also generous in portion size. The restaurant's ambiance and table spacing were very pleasant, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. A bonus was that the outdoor dining area at the back was non-smoking. The only potential drawback was the cost, coming in at nearly £38 for brunch for two people with a drink each. However, coming from Devon, I am not accustomed to London prices.

Visited on a busy Saturday evening on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Sadly the weather wasn 't good enough to sit outside in the lovely garden. My glamorous companion and I both opted for the 'Menu Exclusif ' set menu. The service was very efficient, bordering on being too efficient, a slightly slower pace would have been welcome but all staff were very pleasant. I had the crab starter which frankly wasn 't very nice, it was a wet mess resembling the 'cat soup ' that we buy for our cat, it had no texture and no flavour of crab at all. Tinned crab? My glamourous companion was very happy with her 'Salade Rachel '. I had the steak which was cooked as requested but the plate was cold and the chips were a bity soggy. Desserts very nice. Nonetheless will no doubt go back in the future.

Just passing by and popped in for lunch. Usual Cote menu but the restaurant is beautiful. Large and spacious with a lovely garden area too. Food usual great standard and staff very friendly and attentive.

Very average. Poached eggs Watery, they were poached but arrived on the plate from the kitchen hard not soft. Potato Rosti Well, if that 's what you call it. Bacon With a hint of 'green to them '! Even the female manager looked at it on the way into the kitchen. We won 't be visiting again. Very disappointed, not even asked once was everything ok.

My wife and I dined at this restaurant for lunch and opted for the set menu. The service, menu, and food were all excellent and exactly what we were looking for. We were seated outside at the back of the restaurant in the sun, which was perfect for our meal. It was a wonderful dining experience.
