At the beginning of the year I was invited to lunch at the Möwenstübchen. Since I had no wish for carving or bratfish with pommes or potato salad, I ordered the very tasty sounding salmon with spinach and Hollandaise. First of all, I have to say that the waiting time for almost empty premises was still extremely long until our eighth table. Until the others had their food at my table, almost an hour died! I had to wait at least ten minutes longer. It wasn't worth it. The fish was almost dried and the potatoes were hard. But the so-called Hollandaise was the highlight. For me, she tasted more like a fat cheese sauce. I'd rather have left the food completely, but I'd be hungry and don't want to wait so long. So I scratched the completely inedible sauce as well as possible from fish and potatoes. When I asked about the food, what it was for a sauce, since it was certainly not a Hollandaise, I was confirmed that it was so. So the sauce must have been bad. The next weekend I'm invited again. This time I will eat fish or chips again, I'm curious if it works better.

We were excited about 6 days there and, in particular, the kitchen. A small, family-run hotel. Very friendly and accommodating family. The food is very good, especially if you like fish, but also the other dishes are prepared with very much love. The fish is fresh from the lake, the other ingredients and supplements as well as the meat are from the region. Here I have eaten, among others, a Limandesfiltet, which was excellent. In the period of January bsi April, the skrei comes to the North Sea, is caught there and the freshly prepared. In this period we will definitely spend a short holiday there, even to eat this fish.
