We chose to sit inside on a cool night, although a very pleasant outside verandah is also available. The service was efficient and helpful. An English language menu was...provided. There is a good range of dishes available. We skipped the entree and went straight to the main. My wife had an excellent wiener schnitzel, and I had a delicious bratwurst with sauerkraut. Both meals served in good sized portions. There is no beer served only wine. Our Rose (served by the glass) was very good. Costs are quite moderate. Mains around $20 Euro Would be happy to return.
This restaurant is just opposite to my hotel and it is opened even on Sunday. We did not expect much because not easy to find restaurant on Sunday in Würzburg. Food has very big portion but taste very good. Wine is excellent. Atmosphere is also...very nice with small courtyard behind. The service from staffs is very good and friendly. I recommend this restaurant if you visit Würzburg.
2018 NEW YEARS DAY!!!!! First restaurant of 2018! First dinner of 2018!!! So we visited this pub/Bavarian restaurant while we were staying over in Wurzburg. its a quiet city so at 9 PM this was the only place open! The staff were friendly and the...restaurant environment was nice! it is a university city so lots of young people were inside the restaurant The food was okay! it was not anything memorable but it tasted great and we didn’t get sick so all and all a great experience The price was okay! it wasn’t cheap tho
I know nothing about the food or service. The Weinstuben Jiliusspital was recommended so I stopped by to look at the menus. I then proceeded inside and wanted to see what their hours were so that I could return later. When asked The waiter shrugged...his shoulders and walked away. I proceeded to ask the gentleman at the wine bar and he said “no tourists”. So I left and went elseware. I wanted to have a Franconian meal but their menu is all Bavarian. So as it turned out I did not miss anything. .
The food and the service at this restaurant were both quite good. I had potato dumplings at a few restaurants in Bavaria, and theirs were hands down the best. Compared to the other mid-range restaurants I visited during my one-week trip in Germany, this place...was the most expensive and the serving was the smallest. There was proper social distancing at the restaurant.
