Backöfele - Würzburg

Service, price, atmosphere, everything super! always happy.

Delicious Franconian cuisine! happy, without reservation get a place in original. super friendly and attentive! rouladen and sour roast a cloth!

We ordered in the last week 3 x cups and 1 x meat box with bratkartoffeln. the carvings tasted after nothing, the skin was completely burned and therefore not edible. the sauce was already covered with a layer of fat while serving. the meat cube was also not better, the bratkartoffels were before fat, the sauce and drunk. in the last 20 years we have not been eaten as badly as here. they live in bachöfele only from the picture, but certainly not offered from the quality. by the way, no service person has considered necessary to use the phone. for 45 minutes they just ring the phone.

The backöfele has been an institution in Wurzburg for many years. it is mentioned in almost all tourist guides, so the other can be quite large. after a longer break we were thrilled how the backöfele beats in comparison to our memory. we had a table on a Saturday evening reserved for the ambiente has already been written a lot. the restaurant is large and the tables are distributed over various flats and rooms. the noise was enormous, the air was thick. our table was in a smaller space which was even worse ventilated than the rest of the local. the table was too small for the four people, a proper opportunity for the garderobe was not present. the service seemed overwhelmed, the steak card from the chase was only reluctant and brought to twice demand. the dishes did not arrive at the same time and (which I find worse) the supplements did not come together with the steak. there was proper eating . the most important thing at the steak is the shopping and that was good. for my taste but cut too thin. what should I say in the conclusion: the backöfele brings the impression of a raised large-scale gastronomy with an elevated price/performance claim, in which the claim cannot withstand the praises. I would not go to the court so hard with the restaurant if there were no better alternatives in the price category in Wurzburg, where the backöfele has to compete.

The food was super (lecker sour roast and french sausage) recommended!
