Mayberry Ice Cream Restaurants - Ws

I would have loved to rate this establishment on its ' food; however, we could not even make it that far! I always wanted to, but never really had the time. I was initially greeting by a gentleman who asked me if I was looking to dine. When I said confirmed, I was just interested in ice cream, he told me to give the staff a few minutes. Twenty minutes later, I was not even acknowledged by the other staff. there were two other groups of people of another class who came after me. One came for ice cream; they were offered a seat immediately. Although, they appeared short staffed, they severely lacked customer service skills. A simple we will be with you in a moment, may I take this group in front of you.... is simple courtesy. Although, my order does not break the bank, respect for my time and interest as a customer should. I understand it can be stressful working consistently understaffed but many people still managed to execute the job with professionalism, no matter how small the tab was. Many of these girls hardly seemed busy at all and were trying to find ways to stay busy . At this point, my advice, save your time and your money for people who will appreciate it. An affordable menu with many options. Excellent ice cream.

We’ve been in twice over the last 2 days, the food and ice cream is fine, but most of the staff barely speaks or even smiles. It’s like they’re angry they have to be there. There were a few young ladies working that were sweet and helpful but the young men, and the manager have terrible attitudes. I had a similar experience several years ago and really wanted to give Mayberry another chance. This is a very established restaurant and you’d think with generations of patrons, new and some that have been coming for decades, the staff would be a bit nicer to a community that’s kept them afloat for so many years.

We went for ice cream and they have a lot of different flavors which is nice. However, some flavors are very subtle to taste the flavor, more creamy than flavor. But I really like black cherry, that has stronger flavor.

Great place,good food, I just wish they had more space to sit.
