Oceanic Restaurant - Wrightsville Beach

Great food, great experience. Be ready to wait for a table, but it's worth it! Oceanic has its own dod, so take a walk there or along the beach while you wait. The views of the restaurant are also amazing, with a full 1800 view of the beach and pier. Try the She-crab soup, a specialty of this restaurant that is there forever! You also have your own designated parking lot, which is very helpful in Wrightsville.

I sat here for lunch and so glad we did. Nice to sit on the water and eat delicious food. We loved the Sun-Kissen shrimp appetizer. Also the Caesar salad, a flounder plate and a shrimp plate divided. Fresh and delicious. We weren't in a hurry this day, but I pulled a star because it took a bit for a server to welcome us once sitting; again, it wasn't a big deal for us, but can push for other cartridges for the time. We will definitely be back next time in the area

I visited the area and was told to dine here and I'm glad I did. We sat outside and the view is phenomenal loved seeing the ocean as I ate. I ordered the and grits and it was amazing!! Any time I'm in the Wilmington area I would eat here no questions asked and most likely get the and grits again!

Treated myself to a meal here after my first day at my new job and I wasn't disappointed! I did go on a Monday evening, so I was able to get seating outside on the pier right away. I would definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather allows--the view is worth the wait! The food was reasonably priced, but as I mentioned, I treated myself, so my bill was more expensive than I would normally want to pay for just myself on dinner. But I would totally do it again because it was worth every penny!
