A 9 out 10 rate I had a lovely stay at the Weatherspoon hotel. The staff was so lovely ,kind and welcoming us when we came to check in. We stay Friday till Monday as a 3 night stay. You have to go to the bar first to get person to check you in bec no one manning the reception. We booked a family room so our room was a bit bigger than the normal standard room size. We stayed in room 211. The was a lot of stairs and they was very narrow please bear that in mind but was ok for us as we was young and we got our daily exercise in lol. The room was beautiful, cosy and clean to very high standard. We had house keeping every day. You are right in centre of city of Worcester with the train station Worcester Foregate Street being about 5 min walk. The is some lovely shop near and food places too. A Greggs , cafe Nero, Mc Donald’s , subway, weather spoon pub , costa coffee , slug and lettuce and many more too .Also primark , new look, shoe zone , M&S , small Tesco , savers , Waterstones and many more too. They have a car park to but not shaw how to get to it as didn’t have a car. I felt very safe there as when we arrived the was some drunk people smashing thing up but security was right on it and got the person out and ban them from coming back. We also had keys card and only people who stay in hotel could get in because you need your card to get thought the doors. Also it was nice you didn’t have to keep walking in the pub to get to the room as they have alleyway for hotel people walk thought. If it raining and you fancy going down stair to weatherspoon pub you won’t get wet because your under shelter. The check out time was 11.00am I thought that was a reasonable time to check out. The down side was The Wi-Fi wasn’t great keep disconnecting idk if that bec we was in high up room so hard for us to connect to the Wi-Fi. The view we had was facing the back of hotel so we only really seen building of it no views of shopping place. You can still here the bar noise from your room but more in the bathroom than bedroom so glad it wasn’t to bad when sleeping as I knew it would be busy as it was weekend stay. I would definitely come back here again if I was visiting Worcester.
When you're in the mood for a delicious and affordable meal, you know exactly what to expect. The pub could have been cleaner, but overall it was excellent.
A busy place but staff seemed to handle the queues pretty well. We went in three times over three nights and enjoyed good quality gins at very reasonable prices.
Visited twice over the weekend Saturday lunch and Sunday eve, really busy both times service was good , lunch time wait for food acceptable. It’s a Spoons , good value and you know what you are getting
