Smokestack Urban Barbecue - Worcester

Have a drink before you arrive. It's an okay place to eat, but sometimes the meat can be very dry. They also dilute the wine, claiming they added "ice cubes because it was too warm." If that's the case, they shouldn't serve it until it's properly chilled. It's already expensive to order a glass of wine here, and being served watered-down wine is very disappointing. With the amount of money these people must be making, they have no excuse for this. Other than that, it's a decent spot.

Smokestack Urban BBQ was previously a hidden gem for us, but after our visit, it has become a place we'll definitely return to. The barbecue was outstanding; the brisket was flavorful, the ribs were meaty with lovely smoke rings, the pulled pork received rave reviews, and the chicken was good, although it could have been a bit more generous. The barbecue beans were excellent, and we loved the spicy potato salad and cucumber slices! Overall, it was a delightful meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. Great job, Smokestack! Service: Dine-in.

No one in there when we went which was sad since MIL had gone previously and was always packed when she did go even on a week day. Menu very small and very expensive!! Smoke was a bit too much. I simply was shocked about the price for ribs with 2 sides! $28+ ouch! Wings were hot and good plain. Waitress was very efficient. If prices dropped and maybe a bigger selection of food, I might go back. Food: 2

I had an excellent brisket sandwich! The meat was tender and had a fantastic crust on the outside. My only issue was with the bun; it was served cold and didn't match the quality of the meat. It felt more like a standard grocery store bun. I arrived early, around 4:45 PM, so parking was easy in their lot.
