Bean Counter Coffee & Bakery

We used the Bean Counter Bakery for our GLUTEN FREE wedding cake! For the style, we wanted something classic and timeless, and they created exactly what we were hoping for. Alice was incredibly easy to work with and made the process simple for us. Andthen the best part the cake was absolutely delicious. As someone with celiac disease, I wanted to be able to eat my ownwedding cake, and the Bean Counter allowed me to do just that. When our guests saw me eating it, they couldn't believe it wasGF, that's how good it was. I would highly recommend using them for a wedding cake! But I have also gone to the Bean Counterplenty for coffee and other GF treats, and it never disappoints.

The frosting is too sweet. Not to mention, some of the frosting clearly shows that they are old pastry. Old frosting is sort of like playdoh, so you can understand that they do not take time to throw out old items. The coffee tastes horrible. WhenStarbucks tastes better than a coffee place, that coffee place is not worth going back to. Also, depending on who makes your hotchocolate the taste will vary drastically. Also, bad customer service and they do not follow instructions.

Favorite coffee shop and bakery in Worcester! Plus its allergy friendly! My friend with celiac disease can enjoy the gluten-free options. I'm lactose intolerant and love the dairy free options specifically the oatmeal whoppie pies. Anyways, inthe area or not it's worth the stop in.

Bean counter bakery catered for our wedding on 1/14/22 and we couldn't have been happier. We ordered a 6 chocolate muse cake and a variety cupcakes consisting of carrot cupcakes, peanut butter chocolate cupcakes and cannoli cupcakes. Alice and her teamwere professional.The cupcakes were out of this world. We were pleased with their services.

Update August 30, 2021: I went back today (the next day) to get a refund only to see that two of the tiramisu on display had mold. Absolutely unacceptable. If you see this and still decide to go to this bakery be very cautious and observant becauseclearly these past two days they weren't. August 29, 2021 I never leave reviews even when I have a negative experience but thiswas so unexceptable that it deserves a review. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted. I would give zero stars if I could. I'llbe going in for a refund. I came into the bakery today around 6pm and got six items. I was absolutely disgusted when I went togo eat my tiramisu and saw that it had quite some mold. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this storeagain.
