Been here numerous times at Churassco and I have to say, I actually prefer it over Braza at Darling Harbour for a few reasons:<br/ <br/ a) Cheaper<br/ $39 in comparison to $54 for the all you can eat<br/ <br/ b) Less noisy <br/ There's live entertainment at Braza, larger space and more people thus it is louder there but at Churassco it's less noisy <br/ <br/ c) Easier to get to<br/ Located in Darlinghurst, easier to get to than at Darling Harbour <br/ <br/ d) Food tastes better here <br/ While Braza has more meat and side selections, I do prefer the meat and sides here better <br/ Churassco does really nice deep fried bananas covered in cinnamon sugar, cheese balls, potatoes with cheese and their meats are succulent (sometimes a bit dry but same with Braza too) <br/ Great atmosphere and my Brazilian friend said it's pretty much on par in terms of authenticity when having Churassco in Brazil <br/
LOVE LOVE LOVE the endless supply of perfectly cooked and subtlely seasoned meat brought to your table! Great service great vibe almost like Carnavale!!!
Churrasco is where I would go with friends who likes meaty feast. Meats are continuously cooked and brought to the table. The meat are fresh and juicy. Besides meat, I also love their cheese ball. White Sangria is also their specialty. It's like a sweet and fruity cocktail, not very strong, but perfect to cool you down and cut down the grease of the meat a little. The service staffs are friendly and sweet. A fantastic place for party with the super long tables. It's also quite spacious and therefore kids friendly. Some would say that $50 is not cheap for those who doesn't eat much, however where else can I find a spacious and peaceful (comparatively) brazalian BBQ in the city?
First thing I noticed was how spacious this place is, which I really liked. Tables were set up in long rows (like harry potter dining hall style , lighting was nice and I liked the decor it 's simple, clean and not cluttered. We were shown to our table and the waitress explained that everything is included in the $49pp, except drinks. And we didn 't need to do anything and the food will be brought to us perfect! Then sure enough few seconds later the wait staff start bringing around food to offer us. They also brought us sides of beans, rice and creamy potatoes. I 'm not used to going to a restaurant, then sit down amd start eating straight away, so that felt a bit weird. But hey, no waiting for food!!! Can 't complain about that. : <br/ <br/ Overall I thought the food is okay, some meats better than others but I guess that depends on personal preference. Their cheese balls are supposedly good but I found them to be a bit doughy/plasticky. It 's a great place for meat lovers but I personally would 've like a bigger variety of veggies to balance the meat (though we only had 3 salads offered: caesar, greek and rocket . Also, a lot of the food came in small amounts so there wasn 't enough to give to everyone in our group (7 ppl , but it 's ok because the staff will keep coming back once there 's a new batch. Together with drinks (sangria a pineapple cocktail of some sort we ended up paying $60pp. I don 't know how 'Brazilian ' the meal was and I wouldn 't exactly say it 's good value for money (unless you can eat a LOT of course but it was still a decent experience. We had great service from friendly staff. It 's worth a try if you love meat and are able to fit a lot of it in your tummy! :
