Red Prairie Steakhouse - Woodward

I had the 12oz ribeye, it was great and the pricing wasn't bad. The salad bar had a wide variety and everything was really good. I'd say it's the best steak I've had from a restaurant in quite a while. Highly recommended.

Breading came right off chicken fried steak, which was entirely flavorless, like chewy cooked ground beef. Mashed potatoes and gravy taste like boxed/instant, not homemade. Dinner comes with one side, a very small dish of canned green beans cost $2.49. Waitress was friendly, though I will mention that she didn’t get my order correct and dropped the check with the food.

The building is old, I bet it was a old k-bobs back in the day. The food was very good and the service was also very good. Ordered chicken fried steak. They have three sizes. Order the small or large. These are hand breaded in house the med size one is frozen product.

The food was excellent, portions were nice sized. Staff was friendly, just not detailed oriented. Interior was a bit outdated, however it was very clean!

Pretty good place. Had a medium ribeye. It was cooked as ordered, not tough and had a good flavor. Salad bar has plenty choose from. Service was good.
