I am visiting family from Southern California and it was great to see this place open again. We were not sure what to expect. Let me tell you how sensational our food was. I had the lamb shank and the Cesar salad and both were to die for. There was this particular spice in the lamb shank sauce that was unbelievable and indescribable. The Strawberry Cream pie was Decadent. Keep in mind the food is made to order and it will take a little bit longer than most generic chain restaurants. It’s worth the wait. Trust me on this. One bad review here mentioned “ some microwave”———-that is simply NOT TRUE at all——. I dined with two of the PICKIEST people when it comes to food and they ate their trout including the skin which they normally do not do in other restaurants. I have included photographs of the menu. Look it over. The prices are reasonable considering it’s pretty much five star quality type of food that I would never get anywhere else vs cost comparison. This restaurant opened during the pandemic so try and give them support and a chance. My only recommendation to this restaurant, is that hopefully they may consider in the future to serving wine. It would have been an extra bonus to enjoy a glass of wine with this five star cuisine. However, It wasn’t a deal breaker for us that we didn’t have alcohol, it certainly didn’t detract my rating whatsoever when it came to giving them a stellar review because they deserve it . Awesome Awesome Awesome.
Wonderful couple who ensure food is fresh and of high quality. Peaceful setting and easy to get a table. French onion soup was delicious! So was the main. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items!
Had the prime rib roast beef; GF had the snapper. We both started with the French Onion soup which we highly recommended or as the French say 'incontournable '. GF likes her fish less well done hence more moist but the default doneness here is probably what the local clientele favour. The beef was definitely a quality grade (suspect Canadian AAA). GF noted the absence of a Yorkshire pudding but this is not a deal breaker in my books. Note: when I dined here early August 2021 they did not have a liquor license. Great staff going with the full 5 stars.
We stopped in on a long travel day 30mins before closing. As a family of 5 they accommodated us kindly and went out of their way to make our kids enjoy their meal (which they would have already the food is splendid! Our waitress and the chefs added a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to your dinner which I say with confidence is elevated comfort dinning at its best. (We had prime rib however there is so many delicious options to suit any palette A long travel day on our sons 5th birthday was all washed away by the hospitality and food we received. A meal and restaurant we won’t forget. Give them a try and enjoy a delicious meal and welcoming environment.
I had a fantastic meal here this evening. The food was excellent, and the owners were extremely kind! We started with freshly baked bread that was warm from the oven, which was a delightful touch. The French onion soup was rich and tasty, crafted from scratch using prime rib bones. The prime rib was tender and cooked to perfection, while the lamb shank was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor! I can't wait to come back soon to sample some of the other enticing dishes we saw being served! Be sure to call ahead for a reservation, as seating is limited.
