I am so excited to have this incredible gem in the neighborhood. As someone with Celiac Disease, it's hard to find delicious food that reminds you of what food tasted like before your diagnosis (2005) especially toasty, melty fare. Well, I am happy to report that GF friends can rejoice at Shindig wth an elevated grilled cheese sandwich that rivals the most glutenous of options. And just when I had given up the crunch in Ceaser salads, Shindig surprised me with a fun Parmasan crisp to top off a beautifully dressed dish. I highly recommend this Woodstock eatery which is fast becoming a local favorite.
The Shindig Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had! And try out the Peak Happy Hour Pilsner!
Comfort food to die for!! Chill atmosphere. Great music. A MUST for anyone visiting Woodstock!
The service and food were wonderful! We shared a burger and the grain salad. The burger was done just as ordered, and the meat was high quality. The onion and sauces in it were just perfect. I can honestly say this is the first burger I have ever eaten that I did not want ketchup with! The grain salad did not have as much grain as we thought it would, but it was absolutely fabulous! The greens were just right, the beets were completely delicious, and the goat cheese and avocado were wonderful as well. The entire salad was consumed with gusto! I took a chance and ordered an iced decaf, which is always a crapshoot because most places don’t know what to do with that order. The coffee was so delicious! I feel like I’m saying delicious too much but the entire experience was wonderful! Very tiny place, we were fortunate that we arrived early when they were still tables available. You must have patience to get a table, but it is well worth it!
