The Eggs Benedict was equally impressive, accompanied by a crunchy hash brown “bird's nest” and a fresh salad (I’ve never seen hash browns presented this way, but now I'm a fan!). Usually, I go for the Eggs Benedict myself, but when I saw the chicken fried steak plate pass by, I couldn’t resist. It was a massive serving, and I thought I could never finish it, but I was wrong—I ended up polishing off the entire plate! I was so impressed that I had to ask about the chef. With over 20 years of experience, it shows in his food. His cooking combines a classy, creative twist on comfort food that perfectly fits The Colony’s vibe. I can’t wait to bring all my friends and family back for brunch and other musical or culinary events. On other nights, I tried both the chicken curry soup and the French onion soup, and both were delightful. The French onion soup particularly surprised me, as I usually don’t enjoy it, but the finely chopped onions melted in my mouth, and the flavor was spot on. I’m eager to try everything on the menu, especially the biscuits and gravy and the cheesy grits. I'm thrilled to have found a new brunch spot that guarantees good food during a night out for music!

My wife Laurie, our friend Dave, and I visited Colony in Woodstock to see The Brighton Beat, and it was our first time at that venue. We had a fantastic time! The music was lively and jazzy, and the band got everyone clapping and singing along. It was one of my most enjoyable experiences, being with people we didn’t know but who all shared a love of music. The staff at Colony were incredibly friendly, and it was heartwarming to see how warmly they welcomed back the band. Thank you to the Colony staff and The Brighton Beat for a wonderfully magical musical evening!

This is an amazing, intimate venue that is perfect for any type of concert or event, the live sound was great and clear, the lighting wasn’t too dark to get around during the show like a lot of places, and the balcony was an amazing place to sit and enjoy the show with a drink or some food if that’s your style. the drinks speaking of, were also the cheapest of any venue i’ve been to in the past decade which was great and the parking was very easy as there’s a big lot across the building. when i was talking to a woman next to me before the show, she said she had talked to the owner beforehand about how he picks the artists/shows and just telling her about the venue in general, said he was a really friendly guy! all around, amazing experience

I love the Colony. Great shows, staff and drinks. Being vegan I won't comment on the food. I would rate it 5 stars if the outdoor space was more happening as it was in the past few years. Still the best music venue around.

GET MARRIED HERE! My husband and I hosted the most amazing party ever, and it was all thanks to the Colony and its incredible staff. We wanted a wedding venue that was unique and different, and we really hit the jackpot in Woodstock! We collaborated with Laura to coordinate every detail, and she made sure everything we requested came to life. The chef was also fantastic and very accommodating; we created a nontraditional menu featuring some of our favorite dishes, and it turned out great. The bartenders and staff were exceptional, always attentive and engaged throughout the night. We are absolutely thrilled that we chose the Colony for our wedding and wish we could relive the experience all over again. We can’t wait to return for shows this summer. 10 stars!
