This review is solely on this restaurant's pozole. So I'm a pozole lover, thus willing to try nearly everyone's take on this beloved soup. This restaurant has a good take on the soup. At first the soup was a little bland, as it needed a little more salt to hit my palate. But it came with cabbage (a must), white onions, and limes. Oregano was already at the table. Choice of chips or tortillas. Also a small brown hot sauce. Good portion of pork and hominy. Hominy isn't overcooked, and carried the taste of the soup in every bite. Once I added the hot sauce, the soup had all the flavors I love about pozole. This is one of 2 restaurants in Woodland, I will come back to for my pozole needs. Great job to the family and their pozole recipe!
