Matthews Winery - Woodinville

When our first glasses of wine were served, nobody told us which wines we were being given. We also didn’t receive any water, despite asking for it twice. Jen, our server, eventually informed us that we could help ourselves to filtered water on the side. The last three glasses of wine were brought out together, but with confusing explanations. Jen apologized for forgetting about us, saying they were very busy. However, there were only six tables occupied, so it didn’t seem busy at all. In the end, we were offered two complimentary wine tastings as compensation for the inconvenience, which was a nice gesture, but it didn’t make up for the experience we were hoping for. The service was incredibly inconsistent and chaotic, leaving us deeply disappointed.

Amazing experience! The atmosphere was stunning, with gorgeous outdoor, indoor, and patio seating, all beautifully decorated. They even added fresh-cut flowers to the tables, which was such a nice touch for a Monday! Our wine expert, Louise, was fantastic—knowledgeable and friendly. We loved her so much that we decided to become members! We can’t wait to return and bring friends along next time!

This venue is lovely, featuring a nice indoor and outdoor space. The wine is decent, and parking is convenient.

Amazing space, staff and wine. Had a gathering for my wife’s birthday and they really helped make the day special.

Fantastic service, great wine and details of how the wine was created. As we were leaving though, we walked around the grounds and were told by an older male employee that we “need to leave the property” since they were closing. It seemed very abrupt and sort of ruined the experience. I’m sure there was a different approach that could’ve been communicated.
