Sals Pizzeria - Woodhaven

I read the reviews for this place and I completely agree with them. The pizza is excellent! The sauce is particularly impressive, and I'm curious about how Sal achieves such a rich flavor. My only minor issue was that the garlic knots were a bit chewy, possibly a little stale, but they were still very tasty. Overall, it's a great experience!

You absolutely can't leave Woodhaven without dining at Sal's. In my opinion, Sal's serves the best pizza in Queens and is the top spot in Woodhaven. I grew up in Woodhaven during the '80s, and I still make it a point to enjoy a slice from one of the few authentic Italian places left in New York City.

The best pizza in the neighborhood, without a doubt! I've been eating here for over 30 years, and the recipe hasn't changed a bit. This place holds a special nostalgia for me. I can't imagine what I would do if Sal's weren't around anymore...

Sal has been on Jamaica Ave since my childhood. I loved her food back then and I love it now. It is a piece of my childhood preserved in space.

Sicilian Pizza was NY Awesome! Very close to Forest Park Carousel area AND they said they do delivery to Forest Park! I will definitely be ordering from here again.
