Pizzeria Pezzo - Woodbury

The food was outstanding, but the service left much to be desired. When we arrived, the server greeted us with, "Can I help you?" as if we were confused about where to go. She seemed more focused on her phone than on attending to our needs. We ran out of drinks halfway through our meal, and there was no one around to refill them. We ultimately had to ask for refills. While the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food was exceptional, the service was definitely not up to par.

The crust on the deep dish pizza was quite good, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Although there was plenty of cheese, it tasted like low-quality mozzarella—salty and lacking that satisfying stretch. I added sausage to my pizza, but there were only about ten dime-sized pieces scattered throughout. The sauce had a generic, bland taste as if it came straight from a can. The only highlight of my visit was the friendly and helpful hostess who assisted me with my takeout order. She’s the reason I'm giving this restaurant a second star.

The pizza here is fantastic, but they don't permit pre-orders for their 45-minute deep dish pizza if you plan to dine in.

$30 Pizza was over priced and the achohalic drinks were very weak for $15 The service was good but would not recommend going here for pizza/drinks.

Fantastic food. Our server Maddy was so good. And I cannot say enough good things about the manager Craig! Consistently an excellent experience.
