Papa Murphy's - Woodburn

I want to give a big shoutout to the chef, Francisco, who made my pizza look like a true work of art. He warmly welcomed us and was incredibly attentive while helping us choose our pizza. He took my allergy very seriously and went above and beyond to prevent cross-contamination. I’ve visited several Papa Murphy’s locations, and this one was definitely the best, thanks to the attentive staff.

I never had an issue with my orders, and they were always ready for me to pick up right on time. Having worked in the pizza industry for a few years, I made a lot of pizzas and spent plenty of time in front of ovens. Murphy's is not exactly a traditional restaurant; they don’t serve fully cooked meals. Instead, it feels more like a kitchen focused on a specific type of appetizer. I appreciate being able to pick up an uncooked pizza because it allows me to cook it exactly how I prefer—often on a grill tray to infuse it with a bit of that smoky wood-fired flavor. I’ve found that most of the pizzas I've purchased from here are well-prepared, with a good balance of layered toppings that I can adjust as needed, and the portions are quite generous.

Yes, it is a chain; yes, it's a franchise, but the Woodburn site always seems to just go a bit beyond and beyond to make sure that things are right. High value, high quality, friendly staff. Pizza heaven.

If you're in town, this restaurant is fantastic! The staff consistently treat you with respect and a cheerful attitude. You can easily place your order online and then pick it up. The turnaround time for orders is quick.

The place does what it is supposed to. Inexpensive and tasty. They quickly fix any mistakes and are very nice. I do wish that there was an option where they'd cook it for you for a couple extra bucks. Moved away to Georgia for a couple years and actually missed the idea of a take and bake pizza joint. Glad I'm back to the West coast again!
