Denny's - Woodburn

Oh my goodness, that was the best meal I’ve had in a long time! Haha!

The breakfast I ordered was decent, but the way they talk about their potatoes, you'd think they were something special. Honestly, I was expecting more hash browns on the plate. It seems ridiculous to me that for such a high price, the portion sizes are so small.

The chicken fried steak was delicious; I ordered it alongside chocolate chip pancakes and a strawberry smoothie.

I visited the Denny's in Woodburn for the first time on Saturday night (December 9, 2017). I ordered the pork roast, and my sister had the chicken-fried steak with gravy. Although I'm not usually a fan of chicken-fried steak, it was absolutely fantastic—crispy on the edges and tender inside. My pork roast was incredible, particularly paired with the savory gravy and the vegetables on top of the potatoes. The service was impressively quick; we received our meals less than five minutes after ordering. The waitress was very kind and kept our water glasses full at all times. We were completely satisfied with our experience. I highly recommend this place and would happily make the trip from McMinnville to dine here more often.

I ended up paying $2.79 for my complimentary breakfast. You can't have breakfast without orange juice, and that wasn't included. I'll have to keep Denny's birthday breakfast in mind for next time.
