Eastern Sense - Woodbridge

The Chinese food at this restaurant in the center of Woodbridge is exceptional. The eatery is spacious, tidy, and has a pleasant ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to ensure our needs were met and that we were satisfied. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The service and staff were top-notch. The prices were very fair for the high quality and generous portions.

The dining room is never too crowded, but I believe they do a significant amount of takeout orders. The food is consistently fresh and delicious.

Service is very friendly, you get a lot of food but not that tasty in my opinion. We ordered dinner for two and we got food to feed four people (this is good of course) but the taste was like a regular Chinese buffet, nothing relevant and hard to think we'll go back. The dumpling though were good ... if you ever go try them.

Location is great and easy to park. Food is above average Canadian Chinese but cannot be considered authentic as they are located in Woodbridge and cater to the locals. They have the same recipes as Choice of the Orient, also in Woodbridge. Service is friendly and prices are fair.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 3 years. The staff recognize us and always greet us enthusiastically. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! We usually order the chicken balls because this has to be one of the only places left that make them just right. Not too much breading or dough,a nice crispy exterior and the perfect amount of meat. Other Chinese food restaurants just give you all dough and no meat, but these guys know what they are doing. We order the usual beef fried riced, teriyaki chicken and on occasion the lemon chicken. All great : i just had to mention the chicken balls because they are amazing!
