Our Venezuelan friend recommended this place to us and we really enjoyed it! The owners are so friendly and welcoming and helped us order since it was our first time. Each arepa is $10 and you can put whatever you want inside! They are so filling and delicious! There is a list of recommended combinations for you to choose from as well. Our group really liked the Pabellon: the mixture of savoury beef with sweet plantains was amazing! Everything is so fresh and great tasting! We even bought some to go to bring home to family. The atmosphere is really nice. Even though it?s in a convenient store, it has a cozy mom-and-pop, hole-in-the-wall, authentic feel. There?s great music playing, with comfortable tables and chairs to enjoy the food. There is also a variety or drinks to choose from since it is also a convenient store. We highly recommend this place!
There are some arepa places (areperas) in town, but this guy makes some of the best I've had in a very long time. Very generous sizes and portions, crunchy outside and soft inside, and wide array of fillings and a service that will make you feel you're back in Venezuela. Absolutely recommended.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have had Colombian arepas before but Venezuelan arepas are game changers! We had the beef and pork arepas and it was well-worth the trip in the midst of a snowstorm. Moises, the owner was very kind and welcoming! Will definitely come back!
The most authentic and delicious arepas ever! They use real ingredients he cooks all himself, gives huge portions and the husband and wife are the nicest people ever, they'll make you feel so welcome! You really won't regret it, I always come back!
