Juicy Claw - Woodbridge

The food is fantastic! Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to seat ourselves, which meant rearranging tables on our own. Fast forward three years, and I've dined there in person just once since my initial review. From what I recall, the service had improved. I'm updating my review and increasing my rating by one star due to the incredible quality and flavor of their seafood. Plus, they're now on Uber Eats, which allows me to enjoy their food delivered right to my home. I've placed several orders since then!

I visited the restaurant for lunch and ordered steamed shrimp and sausage, which was supposed to come with a drink and a choice of potatoes or corn. However, I didn't receive the potatoes or corn, so I had to place a separate order for them. As I started to eat the shrimp, I discovered that they were not cleaned properly. I don't eat shrimp that aren't clean, so I requested a knife to help clean them. Unfortunately, they didn't have any knives available and told me I could use a flimsy plastic fork. At that point, I decided to leave without eating.

My fiancé ordered our usual: two shrimp po'boys, one with andouille sausage. This time, we also opted for a side of fries, although their fries can be inconsistent. Perhaps we should have taken the order taker's comment as a warning when they mentioned that the shrimp po'boys don’t come with andouille sausage. My fiancé pointed out that we’ve been ordering this way for two years without any problems. The order was placed with an extra charge.

Great food! Hot! Fresh!! Affordable!! We stopped by on our way back home from North Carolina. Seafood lunch specials?! Who'd have thunk it???? Next time I'm dining in!!

I love this place. They hve the best garlic shrimp in the world. The staff is also so nice. And the fact they have delivery makes this place hands down the best.
