I went back to order more a second time and tried some of their beef guma pie. Just as good. Plan to order of box of these from their website and check out their restaurant next.
Such a disappointment... it was closed due to some legal technicality... I've read all your review and looked for visiting there. Even made a phone call to see it's opened but no answer. Assumed it's busy and visited and found out that. It seems closeting is temporary but I wish they left that notice on phone message or on HP.
I wish I would have reviewed this place sooner, as it's not as fresh in my memory. However a few weeks ago we were out of town and on our way home came across this little gem. We were looking for somewhere to eat brunch. We were greeted by the owner/chef who sat us and got us our menus. He tastefully recommended numerous items from the menu and was very prideful of the food he created. My boyfriend ordered a bacon egg and cheese, our friend ordered an omelet and I had French toast. Ok.. first off, when the food came, my boyfriend got 2 sandwiches! They looked amazing, and tasted great! The homemade potatoes were delicious. My French toast was mouthwatering, very flavorful, moist and just right. SO good! Our friends omelet, I must say, I was jealous I didn't get one. Homemade sausage and bacon, I can't say enough about this place! The owner was very very helpful, very attentive and it really means a lot to see someone have some much pride in their work. Our waiter and the lady cook were also great, they both came to our table. We have to drive past here again in December and you better believe we will be stopping again!
The food is pretty quality, but I shouldn't be forced to give it 5 stars if you know what I mean. It's not that the food is too expensive, it's that everything is really watered down.
If you are looking for a mixture of American food and international food, you need to stop by here. We ordered the Spicy Pie meal and the French Toast combo. Neither disappoints. Good flavor and very filling. The owner was very sweet and happy to answer any questions we had. When we come back through there we will definitely stop back by. They also have yummy Spicy Pies frozen and ready to take home, which we did.
