King Louies Drive In - Wood River

L 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) nobody was on the parking lot and we waited 11 minutes to serve. we even went to order after 9 minutes and said that we were waiting in our car.2 the server (green haarkic) was about as crazy as they could not be out of any reason. 3 We saw that the personal mull cans placed on the tabletops in the restaurant during the waiting.4 While it was not busy at all, we waited 20 minutes for the mediocre eating.

Eating is always good, but they can never seem to get the order right. spoke with waitress and made sure that it was properly said and she had it right. came home again and the orders were wrong!

Best pork tenderloin sandwich I have ever eaten! Served in a tiny diner that is reminiscent of the old Dad's Root beer stands, King Louie is a favorite in the Wood River area. their fries are crispy, and their onion rings are very tasty.

Read the Google reviews and decided to try this place as I was passing through the area. I have to agree…best burger I’ve had! I got the King Louie and added cheese. It was seasoned well, vegetables were fresh and crisp and the bun was perfect! Couldn’t have been any better! Wish I lived in Illinois!

Best burgers around! But the onion rings are frozen, not good.
