The service at this restaurant was extremely slow, despite the lack of busy crowds. It took an hour to receive our food, which unfortunately was not up to par - it was bland, lacked spices, and had more sauce than meat. The naan bread was filled with grease. Throughout our meal, we were constantly interrupted by two waiters clearing glasses and plates, sometimes even before we were finished with them. The restaurant is advertised as a 5-star establishment, but I believe this rating must be outdated. The cleanliness of the restaurant could use some improvement, as there was a noticeable amount of dust and cobwebs present.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and it definitely won't be my last! The staff was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The quality of the food was outstanding.

This restaurant is located in a charming Grade 2 listed building, adding to the overall experience of the visit. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the bar is well-stocked to cater to all preferences. The highlight, however, is the fantastic food. We tried several unique starters that pleasantly surprised us, followed by main dishes like rice and naan that did not disappoint. The prices were very reasonable, despite my initial impression that the restaurant would be expensive. What sets this place apart is its homely and welcoming atmosphere. It is not a large establishment churning out mass-produced meals, which made our visit much more enjoyable than a typical chain restaurant. I was particularly grateful to the owner for accommodating me when my taxi was late, allowing me to stay warm and comfortable until I departed. I will definitely return when in the area again and highly recommend this restaurant.
